The first time in my life I had to stand tall against my darkness phobia. Oscar carried the tiniest flashlight and pointed towards a leaf. It was a Brazilian Wandering Spider. I had no clue and tried to shoot it with my Macro. Lucky me, that it was already munching on a prey. Our first night at Tambapota Research Center was not limited to our night walk between tarantulas and wild boars in the jungle but it was also excitingly well spent with the howler monkeys.

Kaushik my husband assured me that though we have windows without shutter opening to the jungle, we have a mosquito net which is going to hide us. In the morning Oscar our guide seconded the assurance, saying Jaguars never makes an effort to come near the Research center. At the most it might be Oscelot.

Our second day started with the Macau viewing at the salt lick followed by some sauntering in the jungle. We spent the afternoon lazing around the camp.

More coming soon....

You love them and they love you back madame...”
